Writing On Stone Provincial Park
Just back from a photo-oriented expedition to Writing On Stone Provincial Park in Southern Alberta with an overnight stay in Coleman, Alberta near the Frank Slide in The Crowsnest Pass. Travelled down Highway 22 from Black Diamond. The timing of the trip was chosen to catch the prairies and foothills when they are bathed in the bright greens of spring with snow-clad Rocky Mountains to the west. The trip did not disappoint providing a visual feast of classic Alberta landscapes with every kilometer travelled.
